It’s located in a privileged position from which you can walk to the center of Trastevere, Testacio and the center of Rome (Piazza Venezia, Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Campo di Fiori,…), in addition, on Sundays you can enjoy one of the most picturesque attractions in Rome: the Portaportese flea market just down the street from home, literally. The building is a few minutes walk from the center of the old Trastevere district. One of the most characteristic and lively areas of Rome. In it you will walk through ancient streets with fantastic restaurants, pizzerias, “gelaterie”, and magnificent monuments such as the “Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere”. Under the building there are restaurants and pizzerias of great prestige in Rome, as well as supermarkets and all kinds of services. Crossing the river Tiber we will be in Testaccio, another of the most typically Roman neighbourhoods of the city with its beautiful market, il “Mattatoio" and Mount Testaccio. It is perfectly connected by bus, tram and train with the rest of Rome and its surroundings.

The apartment is ideal for a couple. It is elegantly decorated mixing contemporary design with classic furniture. It has large closets, a bathroom with a large shower. It has all the necessary amenities to spend several days there, such as a perfectly equipped kitchen, dining area, A/C, underfloor heating, washing machine, dishwasher or WIFI to stay connected with relatives and friends or if you need to work. The bed area can be separated from the kitchen with an elegant sliding door. You can also enjoy a balcony to take in the air while enjoying a good wine. The building has a large elevator and the beauty of its hall will welcome you before entering the apartment. If the stay is longer, you may be interested in the fact that the bed can be hidden in the closet and take advantage of the sofa underneath. if you need a baby chair or a travel crib I can provide one to you if available upon request. There is the possibility to book a parking place in the building by an extra night fee of 20 euros. Please contact in advance to check availability. Just 2 minutes away, in front of the building where the apartment is located, is Viale Trastevere and Piazza Ippolito Nievo with BUS and TRAM stops. It should also be noted that just a 10-minute walk away is the Trastevere Train Station that connects with Fiumicino airport and other points in the region. If you have time, you have no excuses not to take advantage and get to know the surroundings of the city both in winter and summer (beach and interior areas included). Given the proximity to the center, I advise you to walk as much as possible.
